"Decent site, just caught me at the wrong time"
The site was okay overall, but I think I hit it at a bad time because it felt a little clunky when I was trying to get things done quickly. I did find most of what I needed, but a few pages had me clicking around more than I expected, and the layout wasn’t always obvious.
It works fine if you’re not in a rush, but I happened to be browsing when I didn’t have much patience for digging through menus. A cleaner setup and more updated pages would make it a lot easier to use.

"Husbandry advice was a bit too light"
I was hoping to feel more prepared before placing an order, but the care info on pacificeastaquaculture.com was kinda too basic for what I needed.
Some of the guidance was useful, for sure, but a lot of the tips was stuff I had already picked up elsewhere. I really wanted more specific details on acclimation, feeding, lighting, and water parameters for particular animals.
If you already know what you're doing, it probably is fine. For me though, it left too many questions hanging. Not a bad experience, just not as much support as I was looking for
"The size wasn’t what I expected"
I was disappointed because the specimen ended up being smaller than what was listed. When I reached out/checked into it, the whole experience felt kind of impersonal, like I was just a ticket number instead of a customer with a real issue

"i had a problem with my order and..."
i had a problem with my order and reached out hoping to get a replacement. it took a few emails back and forth and the whole thing wasn’t exactly fast, but they did respond and ended up offering me a refund instead. it was a bit confusing at times, but it got sorted in the end. i’d maybe order again, i just hope it’s a smoother process next time.

"My coral order was just okay"
When my coral showed up, a few pieces looked stressed, which was kind of disappointing for me. Most of them did bounce back after a bit, so it wasn’t a total loss, but I definitely wasn’t as excited with the shipment as I hoped I’d be.

"Packaging was really disappointing"
My order arrived looking beat up, i was surprised by how poorly it was packed. The box felt flimsy, like it had been taped up in a rush, and there really wasn’t enough padding inside to stop everything from shifting around.
For the price, I feel like better packaging should be expected, right? Maybe other people had a smoother experience, but mine definitely wasn’t great, and I don’t think I’d order again unless they improve how they pack their items.

"Frag mounting was just okay"
Not gonna lie, the corals looked decent when they arrived, but the frag mounting wasn’t the best. A couple of the plugs had messy glue, and one frag felt a little loose. It wasn’t a huge issue, but for the price, I was expecting a cleaner job.

"Pretty much what I expected"
I was hoping I’d be wrong, but I already had a feeling the selection might be limited, and that’s basically what I found. There just wasn’t much to choose from, and after clicking around for a while trying to find what I wanted, I gave up and bought it somewhere else.

The box showed up warm, like really warm, and the shrimp just didn’t look right. I wasn’t comfortable using it at all.

"Clean coral, but the experience felt impersonal"
The coral did come in clean with no pests, which I appreciated, but it looked rough when it arrived. I also wasn’t a fan of how little human contact there was throughout the process. It felt like everything was automated, and I would’ve liked to actually hear from a real person at some point.
"I ordered a couple frags from Pacific..."
I ordered a couple frags from Pacific East Aquaculture and overall it went well. The corals showed up looking healthy enough, and they definitely didn’t seem like they had just been freshly cut and tossed in a bag.
I do appreciate that they seem to take quarantine and conditioning seriously. Polyp extension started coming back after about a day, so I’m guessing I may have just ordered at a weird time or caught some bad timing with the shipment.
The only downside was finding one tiny pest snail in the bag water, so I ended up dipping everything again just to be safe. Not the end of the world, but for the price I was hoping it would be a little cleaner.
"Stock info didn’t match what I remember seeing"
I ordered a few items that I remember were listed as available, but after placing the order I was told some of them were actually out of stock. That was frustrating, especially since I was going off what the site showed at the time.

"They got my order sorted out"
I had a little mix-up with my order and wasn’t sure how big of a hassle it was going to be, but I reached out and they got back to me. It did take a bit to get everything fully sorted, but they stayed on it and fixed the problem in the end. All good now.

"I could never catch the rare corals in stock"
I checked back several times hoping to find the rare corals, but they were either always out of stock or just not listed at all. Maybe I just have bad luck, but it felt like I never even had a real chance to get them. Disappointing experience
"Pretty close to the photo, but not exact"
My order showed up healthy, which I definitely appreciate. The piece was mostly similar to the WYSIWYG photo, but the colors weren’t quite as bright in person and the shape looked a little smaller than I was expecting. It’s not a bad buy at all, I’m just kind of tired of having to follow up with customer service over little mismatches like this, so I’m letting it go. I just wish the photo had matched a bit closer

I didn’t feel very confident with the whole experience. I had to chase them up about my complaint, which was frustrating, and it just put me off ordering from them again.

"Couldn’t Get a Straight Answer"
I tried reaching out to pacificeastaquaculture.com a few different times about my order, it felt like I was talking to a wall. I just wanted a basic update, like whether it shipped, whether there was a delay, whether something was out of stock, or even just a quick “we’re checking on it.” Instead, I got no real response. It’s frustrating when you’re not asking for anything complicated, just a simple status update, a tracking number, a timeline, anything. Customer service basically made me feel ignored. I wouldn’t order from them again

"Acclimation went Bad Fast"
I followed the acclimation steps like I was supposed to, but somehow everything was gone by the next morning. Really frustrating because I thought I did it Right.

"Disappointing survival rate on my order"
I ordered some livestock the survival rate was disappointing. A few of them already looked rough when they showed up, and then some didn’t make it very long after arriving.
I get that shipping live animals always comes with some risk, but for what I paid, I expected better. When I reached out, I kind of felt brushed off, which made the whole thing more frustrating. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but I’d definitely be cautious about ordering again

I don’t know, I feel like I was checking the tracking way too many times because it just kept taking forever to move. I expected it to be a little slow maybe, but the order still showed up late, which was frustrating.
